What are you goals?
I know we're busy and finding time to exercise is not always easy. Often exercise is last in line of the list of "to do's" as cleaning house, making dinner, picking up the kids, and sleeping make more of a priority. However, there are many things you can do on a daily basis to burn a few extra calories here and there. All the little things really do add up.
- While standing in front of the stove cooking - do calf raises
- While trying to get your baby to calm down, or while waiting for the microwave to stop- do squats.
- Instead of pushing the stroller- carry your baby for an arm workout
- Instead of sitting in the break room during your lunch break- go for a walk
- Go for a family bike ride or walk after dinner (good for the kids too!)
- Instead of sitting on an office chair at work or at the home computer- sit on an exercise ball to work your core
- Do squats in the shower (seriously)
- While you baby is playing on the floor do sit ups next to him
- Take the stairs two at a time
- When walking down your hallway to go to the bathroom- do lunges
- Instead of watching your kids play tag- play with them and be "it"
- Park further away at the grocery store
What are some other things that you can do on a daily basis that will help you reach your goals? Doing a bunch of little things will add up into a bigger thing that will improve your overall health and fitness.

Hmmm...I thought I already commented, but I guess it disappeared. I'm loving this challenge. Where are all the other participants?
I'm still doing this, but I have come to a strange conclusion...I lose more weight when I don't try. Seriously. Fifty four pounds down, and I'm doing nothing. I love breastfeeding!!!

Can you go 'round them up for me??! :)
My body after baby exercises have been kegels. A year+ later, we're getting that part of the body back. Kinda.
This is totally OT, but I wanted to let you know I'm running a contest on my blog you may want to sign up for! Hint, hint. :-)
thanks for linking to me! I love the lunges to the bathroom idea--lunges are my all time favorite.
I'm having another baby in november, so I'll have to postpone joining your challenge until then. :)
I'm back from my uncle's funeral and suprisingly lost a whole pound while I was away. This week I'm working on getting back into my workout routine and watching my food like a hawk, I'm almost to the 170s!!!
Okay, I'm in. You twisted my arm.
