Cloth Diaper Giveaway!

Thanks to Monique at Mama Momo: all things mom and baby, I had the opportunity to try out a new coth diaper! Mama Momo sells a variety of things such as baby legs, cloth wipes, nursing covers, toys, and a huge selection of cloth diapers!

I tried out a Thirsties pocket all-in-one. These diapers are similar to others in that they are velcro and have fleece inside. But here is the awesome part that makes these diapers stand out from others. You don't have to add an insert! With all the cloth diapers I've tried, you always need to add some sort of insert for absorbency. This isn't a huge pain, as you get pretty fast at it after cloth diapering for a while, but it is one extra step. It's one extra thing you have to wash and dry, and one extra piece of the cloth diaper that you have to put together. Well, with these Thirsties cloth diapers, you totally don't have to!! I love it. It has a built in absorbency core made of microfiber which absorbs everything! These diapers have the option to add an extra absorbency layer, (hence the name, pocket) but it's definately not necessary. I had my boy in his just as is and it worked fantastically! These diapers are especially perfect for husbands or babysitters who are afraid of cloth diapering because they think it's "too much work!" No work here. Especially with the velcro, these diapers are easy.
