Body After Baby: Fit by Labor Day Challenge

With much anticipation, the Fit by Labor Day Challenge is here! These next 8 weeks are gonna rock your socks off!

Below is a magnificent group of strong, brave women. To see all these mamas here showing their incredible bodies that have gave birth to their precious babes is so neat to me. It's just a beautiful thing. I have faith that together we will get to where we want to be with our body after baby! Afterwards we can meet up and frolic along in a field with tall daisies in our bikinis sipping pink margaritas and shakin our tail feather because we look that good. Or you know, something like that.

Two dads were invited to join- so I said sure. I can't turn away people who want to get healthy! I randomly (by the order in which I received pictures) put people in teams for additional support and encouragement. If you're participating in this challenge- please check your email for more information on this and to print out your journal that you can use for the next 8 weeks.

(For those that have blogs- some do not.) Go visit them and cheer them on! All the goals listed are goals for this 8 week challenge. And without further adieu, here are your beautiful contestants in their "before" pictures!


Dark Blue Team


Goal: Lose 10 pounds

Goal: Lose 10 pounds.

Goal: Lose 8 pounds. Focus on tummy, lower back, and arms. Work mostly on diet.

Goal: Lose 8 pounds and stay active.

Mama of 2
Starting weight: 147 and 29 body fat %. Goal: Get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 139. Bring body fat % to 23.

Goal: ..I want to look good and get back to where I was before baby, carefree and confident. I want to be healthy and look fabulous and set a good example for my daughter.

Black Team



Starting weight: 133.4 Goal: Get back to weight of 125. Raise self esteem and become a healthier person.


Samantha (Me.)
Starting weight: 134 Goal: Lose 9 pounds

Starting weight: 142 Goal: Lose 10 pounds.


Goal: Fit into my pre pregnancy jeans and have more energy.

Green Team


Starting weight: 151. Goal: To not scare myself, my husband, or innocent bystanders when I wear a bathing suit. To lose 10 pounds.

Goal: Lose 8 pounds. Work out a min of 2x/week, drink 64 oz of water a day, and make healthier food choices.

Current weight: 135. Goal: Lose 10-20 pounds and tone up.

Goal: Lose 5-10 pounds.


Purple Team



Slee.

Janet.

Marie.
Starting weight: 143. Goal: Fit into pre pregnancy clothes again and add muscle.

Starting weight: 365(ish.) Goal: Reach 330 pounds so I can start using Wii Fit with Mrs Dude!

Brown Team


Starting weight: 134. Goal: Lose 5-8 pounds or inches off my waist.

Goal: Learn to take better care of myself by eating healthy and exercising regularly. Would love to lose the 5 pounds of baby weight!



Yellow Team


Goal: Lose 10 pounds.

Goal: Lose 20 pounds.

Goal: Lose 5 pounds.

Alissa.
Starting weight: 133 pounds. Goal: Lose 10 pounds

Goal: Run 5K in August without stopping. Look and feel better.


Orange Team


Starting weight: 129 pounds. Goal: Lose some baby belly.


Goal: Look smokin' hot in my bridesmaid dress for my brothers wedding-September 26th.

Goal: Lose 3-5 pounds.

Current weight: 181. Goal: Get back to pre baby weight of 171 and be able to run 5 miles again. And fit into those skinny jeans!

Red Team.


Starting weight: 129. Goal: Lose 10-15 pounds. Get fit again.

Goal: Be healthier for me and my family. Lose 8 pounds and tone up.

Goal: Get back to the gym or take long walks 3x/week. Lose a min. of 15 pounds.

Goal: Focus on smart healthy eating and fun exercise. Lose 15 pounds and trim 2 inches off waist, hips, and thighs.


Magenta Team



Court. (Nicole's Husband)



Starting weight: 177. Goal: Lose 12 pounds.

Starting weight: 147. Goal: Lose 20 pounds.

Light Blue Team


Jackie.
Starting weight: 165. Goal: "We are relocating and I would like to use this challenge to adhere to a good diet during this process."



Goal: Exercise more and say no to sweets. Get back in shape.

Starting weight: 193. Goal: look slimmer and feel healthier
