One of the key factors in your success for Body After Baby is to have the proper tools and plan. Without these- you have no direction in which you're going. A plan to workout tomorrow needs to be specific- I will go for a run tomorrow at 9:00am. Having the necessary tools will help you reach your goals and stick to your plan!
Each persons "tools" are going to be different. Over the course of this week I have stocked up on a few things and made sure I had all the necessary ingredients to reach my goal during the Fit by Labor Day Challenge. These are just a few.
My 8 week journal. I keep this on the counter and keep track of my workouts and eats. I don't do this so much for accountability (although it DOES help!) but mostly so that at the end of these 8 weeks, I can look back and see what I did. If I reached my goals I want to be able to see what exactly I did. If I didn't reach my goals I also want to see what I did so I can make changes!
I keep a bowl of nuts/pretzels on my kitchen table to snack on throughout the day. Yum!Here is our cute friend Mr Linky. He is usually pretty nice and flexible. The only thing he doesn't like is if you leave your website link without ever mentioning Body After Baby. That's not what Mr Linky is for. You must leave your body after baby post url. Mr Linky is a way for other readers to visit your Body After Baby post! If you're not sure how this works let me know or look at the links left for examples!
Hey- don't look at me. These are his rules! Have a wonderful week! Can you believe it's already been a week- only 7 more to go now!! Stay strong. Focused. Determined.

Chocolate Pepermint Stick Luna bar cures my chocolate craving EVERY TIME! I can't believe it's not candy!
Having something hot to eat or drink..soup, broth, tea..really helps you to feel full. Also, I love sugar free gelatin with fresh fruit as a great snack!
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

snacks high in protein really help to fend off hunger for a while!
I refill my new BPA-free nalgene bottle instead of bottled water. Thanks for the egg tip. I will be incoprorating them into my diet plan. And sharing with the dog. :)
I love Mondays.
There, I said it.
Monday = a fresh start. And I love a fresh start!
I try to have healthy snacks available at all times. I'm a snacker.
I love the journaling pages. Wonderful idea- thank you!
bah, i screwed up the linky again! I so suck.
I need to drink more water. I drink a lot, but more would be so much more helpful!
I see water as "the fat melting potion" lol... I have noticed the more water I drink instead of juices or soda(not that I am a big fan) my belly fat goes away faster! So there you go... hurray for the "Fat Melting Potion" By they way... I have around 15 pounds to loose! hmmm Potion is on the way! :)
I'm jumping in late, but I'm jumping in! Good idea on the protein bars :)
Quick ? ~ do I need to send a before picture? If so where do I send it?
Amanda- the Fit by Labor Day challenge started last monday (the 13th) but we'll have another picture challenge- don't worry!
Great post Samantha. I didn't get my Mr. Linky up this week, we were camping. But I've been doing well with it. Any suggestions for someone who hates nuts for a good on the table snack? We eat a lot of fruit here, but I wanted to find a high protein snack to keep out. How do you feel about protein shakes?
