Earth Mama Angel Baby Review & Giveaway

  at 7/19/2009
I had the opportunity to try out the Angel Baby Kit from Earth Mama Angel Baby Organics. This kit includes shampoo and body wash, baby bottom balm, baby lotion, baby oil, baby sleep CD, and bath blossoms. These products are all zeros on toxic ratings from the cosmetic database. I love knowing that there are absolutely no chemicals or toxins that will touch my baby's skin!

I prefer to use products that have very little to no smell. While the products of Earth Mama Angel Baby smelled very good, they were a little too strong for what I'm used to. I'm not a big scent person. The scent of the baby bottom balm was definitely my favorite though- it smelled delish! From Earth Mama Angel Baby- " This amazing balm does double duty as a "first-aid-in-a-jar" for the whole family: use on minor cuts, scrapes, rashes and burns and more." The smell of it was so "natural" and good!

Above all, the most important thing that I look for in baby products and in things that go on my baby's skin are the chemicals and ingredients in them. Because all the ingredients in Earth Mama Angel Baby products are toxin and chemical free and contain natural and organic ingredients (the bath blossoms are USDA organic!) I don't worry about these products touching my baby. The Angel Baby Kit would make a great gift for a new mom because it contains everything she needs from the start!

Earth Mama Angel Baby is giving one of my readers "A Little Something for Baby." This kit includes everything you need for your sweet pea while you're away from home! It comes with a a travel size baby lotion, baby shampoo and body wash, and baby bottom balm. It is all 100% toxin-free!

I use Johnson's Head to Toe Body Wash... it was a 4. I thought it would be a lot higher than that. I love the wash though, and it is pretty cheap. And it smells good.

eek--we use Aveeno lightly scented baby wash and shampoo. it was a 3, which I guess COULD be worse, but something I use on my babies I would want to be a 0!!!

I checked the Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo & it was a 5. I also checked the expensive Aveeno Shampoo & Baby wash I've used a few times & was surprised to see it was a 4. I really haven't thought much about toxins in shampoo or other body products.

i looked up Arbonne's Herbal Diaper Rash ointment and was surprised to see that it was a 4. I was thinking it'd be a 1 or a 2! the word "herbal" can be deceiving!

I looked up my Burt's Bees Baby soap and shampoo. I think the 4 was a bit harsh, since the bottle merely said "fragrances" and the site feared the worst possible kind without checking to see if those fragrances were from natural essential oils. However, I will pay attention and not simply buy something that says "organic."

Ugh, we use Johnson and Johnson bedtime lotion, and it's a 7! I hate being wasteful, but it's going in the trash now.

I was also surprised by the Aveeno ratings. We use the baby wash.

I use California baby calming Shampoo and body wash. It was a 1. I love this stuff and spend the extra $ because I know what im getting. My little is allergic to many things and I can always count on them to tell me exactly whats in their products.

I looked up the Johnson's Bedtime bath and it's level was 3. I thought this site was very cool to keep you aware of how dangerous the products are that you use.

We use the huggies body wash, it was a three. Not sure what I expected though. Very neat site!
