In May I wrote this on my blog for Lucas. It was a spur of the moment sort of thing. I wrote down my "advice" or things I wanted Lucas to know. What good is in doing on my blog? He can't see it and years from now I will have forgotten about it. So... I tried to be as creative as is humanly possible for me. Which is not much but I gave it my best shot! I got a shadow box frame and picked out some fun paper. Then wrote in my messy handwriting with a black sharpie.
This was the outcome. It's a little hard to see in these pictures. It's not perfect and I made some mistakes but it's real and that's how I want it to be. I hope Lucas takes it with him to college so he'll never forget what his mother has to say to him. :) Right.

I love it! I plan to have my boy's blogs printed into books so they have them as scrapbooks and can read forever the words of wisdom I had to bestow on them when they were little (haha!)! But seriously- it's the same concept! I also plan to start writing little letters to my future daughter-in-laws!

I am in the same boat as far as "craftiness" is concerned, and I am so envious of "those people" who make scrapbooking and sewing and what-not look so terribly easy!
