I want to ask ya'll to pray for a friend of mine. I went to high school with her and we graduated in the same class. She has two younger boys. Her third son was just born last week- 15 weeks early. He was born weighing 1 pound and 9 ounces. His name is Cameron.
Cameron is doing really well, he has been off the ventilator for two days! Pray that he continues to thrive and grow healthy and that Tonya would be able to hold him this weekend! I can't even imagine not being able to hold my own baby! Pray for strength and peace for this family!Update Thursday morning: Cameron's blood pressured dropped extremely low and was put back on Dopemin and the ventilator.

Oh my gosh, cant imagine a baby being born 15 weeks early. He is just so tiny. I will say lots of prayers for little Cameron. So glad to hear he is off the ventilator and doing well but we all know how things can change so quickly. I will ask God to watch over that precious little baby boy. Hoping each day he gains strength and weight. I wish your friend all the best. Keep me posted. Hugs

We had a scare and thought Lucy was going to come 3 months early. By the grace of God she managed to stay put until she was full term, but was still on the small side then. I don't know if I would have handled it very well had she been born that early.
I still don't understand why God decided for Lucy to stay put but for babies like Cameron to go ahead on into this world, but He has a plan. We just have to trust that awesome things are to come for that sweet boy and his mommy :)

And on an encouraging note...My oldest brother was born 14 weeks early, and this was back 38 years ago when the medical technology was way less than what it is today, he was, at that time, given a 2% chance of survival. He is now a happy, healthy 38 year old man with a lovely wife and 3 children, and no health repercussions from being born so very early :)
