I mean, I tried to make a video.
It didn't work.
Failed. Miserably.
What once was a relaxed child who would lay on his back for two minutes while I did push up's over him is now an active not sitting still kid. I did squats holding him and he was practically jumping out of my arms. After that it just got dangerous.
But for what-the-heck sake, here is a small glimpse of what you could do with your child. This is sort of embarrassing. My husband was not suppose to be talking and the dog was suppose to be sitting still. But my friends, this is real life. Oh, and I was suppose to be wearing cooler workout clothes but what gives.
If you could please turn on some NSYNC while you're watching, I think it might make it more enjoyable for you. I would suggest Tearin Up My Heart but really, the choice is yours.
Here is the song clip. With a video! You can thank me later for this. Don't tell me your head isn't bopping up and down right about now. MmmmmmBop! Oh wait, I think that's Hanson.
Thank you Justin for your white beater and blonde hair. Do you know that even after all this time, I still know every single word of this song? Every single word. I think that's sayin' something.
Gosh, this is really embarrassing.
I hope to next time be a little bit more, um professional.
Enjoy!
So. Body After Baby week five. How's yours? Is your stomach firmer from all the crunches you've been doing? I bet so.

This week's challenge could have been incorporating your kids into your workouts somehow, in honor of your video!
I laughed. Since Lucas and Jordan are so close in age, it was all too familiar!
Oh Samantha... I aplaud your effort! What a fun and cute video. You're such a great mommy ;)
HAHAHA I love it!! The video was hilarious and I am NOT afraid to admit that I too know all the words to "Tearin up my heart"
Aww! I don't think you failed at all! That is what a real workout with baby is like! Great job!
what a great momma!! i love the video!! it inspired me to get off my tail and gift it a go!! :) Thanks!
That is so cute, it would be just like Xander to do that while I try to work out.
Oh, so cute! Makes me want to try it with my little one! Thanks :)
They don't make 'how to exercise with a toddler' videos. Its sad really. Though my almost 2 year old loves to do prenatal yoga with me. Especially poses where she can climb on my back and turn me into a pony.
Love the video! I do some of those with Baby H. I can't do push-ups though. I try, but I just can't do a single one. I'm trying to build up the upper body strength to do them by doing the variation where you stand with your toes against the wall and push away with your arms, back straight.
Oh my gosh--that cracked me up! I LOVED it because it's so true! You should see me trying to work out with my kids and dog around!
I can't believe how young Justin Timberlake looks in those videos!
Thanks guys. You're sweet. :)
You had me sitting here on the laptop watching 90's pop videos.
lol.
I've never been able to work exercise in with the kids, other that chasing them around or playing Wii with my 4 year old.
That video was SOO me yesterday! It was raining so hard I thought I'd forgo my regular morning walk, so tried to do a workout video instead. With my 8-month-old daughter and 4-month-old puppy, it proved to be impossible. I AM sore though from the 5 or 10 minutes I managed to get through. Time for more pushups! I'm not officially doing the challenge, but kind of following along. This is a great idea and you are very inspirational.
LOL the video is soooo cute!! :)
#29 is by the far the cutest and most precious baby on here. She's the one that I hope wins.
