Yesterday I held a sweet baby, just seven weeks old. She was so little and perfect.
She was a girl. A beautiful newborn baby girl. She smelled like a brand new baby. She was wearing a pink striped outfit and a light yellow ity bit hat.
And a pink cloth diaper with daisy's on it. A pink cloth diaper.
Oh, you've really done it now.
The cuteness! My ovaries! My ovaries!
Ah. I love newborns. November + 9 = August.
I'm totally kidding.
I think.

So funny and accurate. Now I know I'm not alone. :)
Just READING about her make MY ovaries hurt too!!
P.S. NO August babies, miserable! :)
Oh my! I have 2 girls, 13 months apart. It is definitely a challenge, but having them so close together also has it's perks. If you really want another, go for it!
At least I am not the only one with newborn envy! My "baby" just turned one in September and I already miss the "baby" stage. I say if you are ready don't let anyone discourage you.
all i can say is - thank goodness im already pregnant!
oh girl I hear ya- and with the few blogging friends who've announced they are preggo recently... goodness. But I know now is not the time!
Sophia is almost 10 months old, and we are wanting another now. Unfortunately nothing is going on as I'm still BF'ing.
Oh well :)
I know the feeling, only it was in reverse as I held a sweet baby boy recently. But thankfully, my little nine month old is still very much Mama's baby and I love the snuggles and the soft cheeks to kiss and the downy head. I'm not rushing her! It is amazing how small a percentage of the baby department clothes she could fit into though. I almost want to cry when I realize I really should be looking at toddler clothes now. :(
Feel the same way! Any baby... doesn't matter how old.. I get all weepy! The younger the worst!
This is why I avoid brand new babies at all cost , hahaha ;)
I know just what you mean!
I too had this happen to me this weekend. Seems it happens more than we realize.
I love this, you sound just like my wife lately! Our almost 5-year-old boy and 2 1/2-year-old "baby" girl are awesome, but the desire for a third is strong. We'll see what God has in store for our family!
I don't even want any more babies but holding newborns would make my ovaries ache too.
