I love they Hylands tablets! They worked great for both of my kids while they were teething. Another thing that I used with my daughter was a damp washcloth, partially frozen. She would chew on that all day long while she was teething!

My son loved gnawing on Gerber's Zwieback crackers, but I couldn't find them while my daughter was teething. I have a friend with a teething baby and she can't find them either...

Our teething problems have been months of agony. Lucy started the painful process at 2.5 months, while she was also battling reflux and colic. (My "lucky" G.I. Joe was stationed away and never got to experience that :P) But she didn't get her first tooth until she was over 8 months. Then it was not so bad. Until she hit 11 months and was starting her molar teething. She cut the first molar at just over 14 months. So we go months with this garbage. I can't wait till its over! We've tried natural remedies but not much works besides teething jewelry and some motrin when it gets unbearable. Its awful seeing your child in pain like that.

Great post! My son is 10 months a week and we've still yet to see any teeth! I blamed teething for SO many things, simply because we're told they'll start to come in around 6-7 months. I'm very hesitant to label any grumpiness to teething, because I've been wrong countless times! I'm hoping he'll have an easy go of things, and that one day we'll just notice that they're in. However, he gives the biggest gummy grins, so I have a feeling it's going to be a lot like a watched pot that never boils. :P

My favorite teething saver is a momcicle. Buy a popcicle making mold and then fill it with a little breastmilk in each compartment. Freeze and serve. My daughter loves them and they help her deal with owie teeth.

aedan has four teeth, we used teething tabs with the first two (that came in simultaneously) and nothing with the second set (again simultaneous) haven't had to deal sith teething for about a month but we take it tooth by tooth, or in his case set by set.

The pediatrician recommended the teething tabs and they seemed to do the trick. he only used it once or twice daily for about three days. He is a trooper!

great post! My daughter got her teeth at 7 months and I KNEW she was getting them. I could see them coming in. My son however, was also like yorus and had no signs or symptoms. They are cute though!
